Bengal Express is the train ride at Bellewaerde in Belgium.
Unlike many park trains, the route does not circle the theme park but instead takes visitors right into the midst of the attraction's live animal enclosures.
The enclosed carriages pass right alongside Bellewaerde's collection of lions and amur tigers, allowing visitors to get up close to the animals in a way that is just not possible when looking through a chain link fence into their enclosures.
The train has been operating at Bellewaerde since the early 1970s and was a feature of the original safari park. Compared to the usual run-of-the-mill train rides, the added dimension of entering into the home of live predators with only a window separating you will raise the adrenaline!
