Cobra is PowerPark's Vekoma Boomerang coaster, a rollercoaster model which can be found at parks across the world.
What makes PowerPark's different are the ride's trains. Cobra was the first Boomerang to use Vekoma's MK1211 model trains, which feature open sides the each car which give riders a more exposed feeling.
The ride itself follows a familiar Boomerang track layout, with the train first hauled backwards up a hill before being released to race forwards through the layout. After navigating the usual cobra roll and vertical loop inversions, the train travels up a second spike, then down again to complete the circuit in reverse.
Vekoma Boomerangs have a reputation for being rough and uncomfortable. Unfortunately the different trains do little to help on Cobra, and in fact their restraints push against riders' torsos to the point it can be hard to breathe. Even if it isn't the roughest Boomerang, there's the usual headbanging to contend with too, which makes the rollercoaster an all-together unpleasant experience.
