Pizzeria Pelle
Pizzeria Pelle is a restaurant offering an unlimited pizza buffet at Särkänniemi.
For one fixed price, diners can help themselves to as much pizza, salad, nachos and soft drinks as they like. Pizzas include margherita, salami, chicken & blue cheese, pesto & cream cheese and ham & pineapple, together with a vegan option. Gluten free diets can be catered for upon request, although they do charge extra for this.
As at similar buffet restaurants, they seem to struggle to keep up with demand at busy times so not all pizzas may be available whenever a diner goes up to serve themselves, but there is a steady rate of fresh pizzas being produced.
There is a large indoor seating area, plus an outside terrace next to the water, which offers some great views.
Pizzeria Pelle's food is good quality, with fresh pizzas and crunchy salads. At €16.90 for an adult (2023 price) it isn't the cheapest option, but overall isn't bad value for money.
