La Grande Roue beside the lake
La Grande Roue is the name of the ferris wheel at Jacquou Parc.
The wheel stands 25 metres high and sits on the edge of the park's lake, from where it offers views over the park and the surrounding area.
Riders can be seated in one of eighteen six-seater gondolas, painted in a rich red and gold colour scheme. Sadly some of the paintwork is starting to peel, and could do with a touch up.
Despite not attracting long queues of riders, a trip on La Grande Roue is very short: riders get only one revolution on the wheel before they are asked to get off again. It feels a little miserly.
