Le Pal is a large theme park set in the countryside near the centre of France, and offers both a large amusement park and a zoo on the same site.
The park offers a full day out, with numerous attractions, shows and animals to experience. It is family owned, with the current manager Arnaud Bennet being the son-in-law of the original founder who opened Le Pal in 1973.
Amongst the rides spread throughout the park, highlights include Yukon Quad, a launched rollercoaster from Intamin featuring quadbike style cars and straddled seating; Le Twist, a Mack Spinning Coaster; Champi'folies, an interative dark ride opened in 2023 as part of the park's 50th anniversary celebrations; and the unusual King Kong.
Le Pal is large, and the layout at times can be a little confusing so it is important visitors keep an eye on the park map to ensure they don't miss seeing everything. Persevering is well worth it though, with high quality rides and a pleasant family friendly atmosphere on offer.
