Nigloland

Nestled in the countryside between the vineyards of the Champagne growing region, Nigloland is a beautiful French theme park featuring some of the best attractions and ride experiences in Europe.

The magical theme park is gorgeously themed, with every area sumptuously presented and delightful gardens and floral displays scattered everywhere you look. Nigloand is named after the its mascot Niglo, which is the Romani word for hedgehog.

Sitting within the park's themed areas are a large number of rides and other attractions, almost all of which feature detailed theming themselves. Headlining all of them is Alpina Blitz, a snowy ski resort themed Intamin Mega-Lite Coaster which opened in 2014 - although it has been so well cared for it looks brand new.

Other rollercoasters in Nigoland's collection include Krampus Expédition, a water coaster taking riders on a journey to find the legendary Krampus beast of the Swiss Alps; and Spatiale Expérience, an indoor space themed rollercoaster with many similarities to Europa Park's old Eurosat coaster.

Nigloland isn't only about rollercoasters though. Other attractions of note include: Manoir hanté, a spooky haunted house dark ride; Grande roue, a ferris wheel offering wonderful views over the park and local vineyards; Eden Palais, an indoor space containing a museum, cafe and traditional carousel; Dragons volants, a monorail with dragon shaped cars; and King of Mississippi, a paddle boat ride around the park's largest lake.

Hungry visitors are well catered for with a variety of restaurants and takeaway outlets which all offer superb quality food.

Nigloland is stunning. It's a brilliant park, which offers a fantastic day out with a large number of high quality rides all set in beautifully kept grounds with great theming. It deserves to be better known outside France, as it is one of the top theme parks in all of Europe. It's a park that is very easy to fall in love with!
