OK Corral brings cowboys, Indians and the excitement of the old Wild West to southern France.
The theme park's attractions all feature an American West theme, with a dusty, cactus-growing, frontier town vibe pervading the park and making visitors feel they're standing right in the heart of a scene from a Western movie.
Amongst rides such as Grande Ourse (a custom Zamperla Kontiki boat), Alligator Island (a Zierer Jet Skis) and Mystères de l'Ouest (a Wild West themed ghost train) are two unique rollercoasters: Gold Rush and Pioneer. Gold Rush is both a full circuit and shuttle coaster in one, while Pioneer offers riders the choice of riding horseback or in wagons behind.
The park is family-run, having been owned since 1979 by the famous Bembom Brothers from the Netherlands (who also owned Dreamland in Margate throughout the eighties and early nineties). Their love for OK Corral is clear, with everything well maintained and a happy family-friendly atmosphere pervading. If you're lucky you may even see one of the brothers roaming the park, fully dressed in his cowboy outfit!
OK Corral is larger than it first appears, with rides and attractions initially hidden coming into view as visitors explore further into the park. With a decent number of fun rides aimed mainly at families, it's a wonderful theme park that could easily entertain children and adults for a day. Ride 'em cowboy!
