Parc des Combes is an amusement park centred around a narrow gauge tourist train line located on a hill above the former mining town of Le Creusot in Eastern France's Burgundy region.
Along with the train, which takes visitors on a journey through the nearby valleys and forms the park's major attraction, Parc des Combes also has a number of rides located at various levels up the hillside.
There are two family rollercoasters, a summer toboggan run, alpine coaster and log flume together with various thrill rides and kiddie rides.
Parc des Combes is a small park, although the steep hill can make a visit more strenuous than it might first appear, especially as rides are scattered on several levels. While none of the rides are particularly unique or special, they can offer some entertainment for visitors waiting for a ride on the railway (which, it should be noted, has only a restricted number of departures which all occur in the afternoon even though the park itself is open from late morning).
