Walygator Sud-Ouest's Boomerang was one of the original opening day attractions for the theme park, and is a Vekoma Boomerang shuttle coaster.
As with other installations of its type, Boomerang's train begins by being hauled backwards up a slope before being released to run through the track layout which comprises a cobra roll, vertical loop, and spike. After reaching near to the top of the spike, the train is released to run through the layout once more, but this time backwards.
Boomerang rollercoasters are notorious for being uncomfortable rough headbangers. While it certainly sits within that category, Walygator's far from the worst example and - in the middle at least - is comparably smooth without too much headbanging. It is, though, still a Boomerang and not exactly a pleasurable rollercoaster experience.
