A boat floats past Pinocchio
Puppet Boat Ride, known as Marionetten-Bootsfahrt in German, is a gentle boat ride through pretty gardens in Europa Park's German area.
Scenes along the way depict various fairy tale stories, all brought to "life" by large animatronic marionette puppets.
Well known characters include Geppetto and Pinocchio, Max and Moritz, Robin Hood and Maid Marian, and the Fox and the Crow.
The ride uses Mack's circular four seater boats which float down a free-flowing water channel, gently spinning in the current as they go.
Puppet Boat Ride is a relaxing slow-paced ride ideal for young families, older visitors and simply those who need a few minutes break from the busyness and thrills offered elsewhere in the theme park.
