Der Kleine Zar is the smallest of Hansa Park's rollercoasters and tells the story of the Little Tsar.
The rollercoaster is a Mini Coaster model from Preston & Barbieri, with trains themed as little mine wagons.
The backstory of the ride revolves around a child Russian Tsar who builds a wooden sledge ride in the snow with his friends. Riders of Der Kleine Zar can ride along with them, experiencing the chidren's invention - the world's first rollercoaster.
Along with many of Hansa Park's attractions, Der Kleine Zar is wonderfully themed and looks fantastic. The park pitches it as a "first rollercoaster ride" for its youngest visitors, but with the quality of theming it perhaps attracts an even more varied audience than just its target demographic.
