The entrance to Cavallino Matto is on the side of a suburban road, 500 metres inland from the Tuscan coast. Beyond the entrance is a shady woodland grove, which hosts Cavallino Matto's collection of family friendly rides.
Up until recently the park was firmly pitched at the young family market, but then in 2015 it expanded into land at the back of the park where it placed Freestyle, a standup coaster which was previously sited at Canada's Wonderland. At 80ft high, this is the largest and most thrilling of the rides at Cavallino Matto by some margin. The next largest rollercoaster is Project 1, a compact family rollercoaster from L&T Systems.
The park has a very relaxed feel, and its pine trees provide a welcome respite from the heat of the Italian sunshine. It is very well kept, with a nice selection of attractions that are well worth a short visit if in the area.
By far the park's largest ride, a secondhand stand-up coaster originally from Canada's Wonderland
A mid-size family coaster, the second largest rollercoaster in the park
A kiddie coaster with a great face!
Another rollercoaster for the kids
