Weaving through a large artificial mountain, Eldorado is the name of Etnaland's mine train themed rollercoaster.
The ride is the only example of a mine train from S&S, which is a shame as it's great family coaster.
Eldorado's train is themed to look like a traditional steam locomotive hauling mine wagons behind it. Attention to theming extends from the train itself and throughout the wooden shack style station and around the ride with the huge artificial rockwork that surrounds it.
After climbing the long tyre-driven lift hill, the train races around the largely helix driven layout that rushes past the rocks and through numerous tunnels within the mountain. The tunnels are a nice addition and provide some fantastic headchopper moments.
Although overshadowed by the scale of The Storm which sits nearby, Eldorado is arguably the best of Etnaland's rollercoasters. While it is aimed at families, it provides some exciting thrills as it weaves its way through its various tunnels, and it comes together with some great mountain theming too.
