Mine train
Fans of cowboys and the Wild West will find themselves at home in Fiabilandia's western area where they can hop aboard for a ride on the park's runaway mine train themed rollercoaster, La Miniera d'Oro.
The ride, sometimes known by the fuller name of La Miniera d'Oro Del West, is a rollercoaster from Pinfari featuring a mine cart themed train which makes its way through a wild western mine themed track, passing beside large cactus plants and lifesize model red indians on horseback.
Much of the layout is taken at crawling pace, although the train does speed up on a few downhill sections. There's several indoor parts including a themed mine which it enters part way around, with an animatronic bear hidden inside. The highlight is probably the final enclosed tunnel, where the cars dive down a fairly speedy fifty foot drop in the dark.
Miniera d'Oro is by no means the best mine train coaster out there, and is fairly slow paced and largely unremarkable. It does, however, benefit from some nice indoor sections and a scattering of wild west and mine related theming.
