Eurofighter's vertical lift hill
The imaginatively titled Eurofighter is a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter rollercoaster at Zoosafari Fasanolandia in Italy.
While the ride has a standard Euro-Fighter style layout, its location makes it very special - it sits high up on the park's hillside and offers spectacular views of the Adriatic from its vantage point.
The ride's sign board features an unfortunate spelling mistake, and names the ride "Euro Figther".
Eurofighter's layout includes a 97° beyond-vertical first drop, vertical loop, overbanked turn and heartline roll.
The ride's construction went through some controversy, with the initial building work being stopped by local police in 2007 citing issues with permits. Following several years of problematic negotiations with the City of Fasano, the ride was opened in 2011.
