Journey down Diamond River and into a mining community
|Highest Drop||43 ft|
Diamond River takes riders on a journey around a diamond mining community, on board large boats that can accomodate four rows of three passengers.
At the end of the ride is a 13 metre high log flume style drop, with boats splashing down into the water below.
Unfortunately, the ride is rather long and it takes quite a while to get to the climax. While it is nicely themed, there is a limit to how many models of miners and boxes of diamonds can hold the interest of visitors eager for some water ride action.
The ride is secondhand, having previously operated at Sommerland Syd in Denmark as Amazonas until the park closed in 2012.
