Tomahawk is the smaller of one of two wooden rollercoasters at PortAventura.
Perhaps surprisingly, even though it was designed as a junior woodie primarily aimed at children and young families, it is actually by far the more enjoyable of the two.
It provides a pleasant ride experience in sharp contrast to the roughness of its neighbouring big brother Stampida.
The ride was built by Custom Coasters International alongside Stampida and opened at the same time. At certain points the tracks even interact, allowing riders of each to cross paths if the timing is right.
If you find yourself in the Far West section of the park in search of a rollercoaster thrill, Tomahawk is worthy of serious consideration - you'll certainly have a more comfortable time than on Stampida!
