Newton
Newton is Skara Sommarland's log flume water ride.
Unlike many log flumes, Newton forgoes the usual log shaped boats in favour of a much more unusual and quirky whale design.
The water channel follows a winding route past bushes and trees, beneath a waterfall which switches off at the last moment before the boat passes underneath, and around to reach the conveyor lift and drop. The whale boats create a pleasant splash as they crash into the pool at the bottom, before returning to the station.
Newton is not the longest or best log flume, but its whale theming adds a bit of interest beyond the usual ubiquitous log boats.
