Just Chicken
Just Chicken, as the name implies, is Alton Towers' restaurant in X-Sector which serves chicken related fast food.
The food on offer all revolves around fried chicken, and includes chicken drumsticks coated in the restaurant's special seasoning, chicken burgers and even a special donut chicken burger with a chicken burger sandwiched between a pair of doughnuts.
There's a limited amount of seating available inside Just Chicken to the left of the counter, although on busy days most customers will probably end up eating outside sitting on the rocks or small number of benches around X-Sector.
The restaurant originally opened for the 1998 season as a branch of KFC. As part of Merlin's strategy of replacing fast food franchises, it was replaced in 2012 with the in-house Fried Chicken Co "brand" taking its place. This originally featured a gimmick where customers would guess a number between 1 and 99, then press a big red button which would set off a randomiser that displayed a number on a big screen above the service counter. If this number matched their guess, the guest would receive their meal for free.
Fried Chicken Co was given a makeover and rethemed into the current Just Chicken for the 2019 season.
