Flavio's Fabulous Fandango
Gangsta Granny fans will recognise Flavio Flavioli's name as one of the superstar dancers on Strictly Stars Dancing.
Flavio's Fabulous Fandango is a ride based on the spectacular Fandango dance routine which Flavio performs on the show.
It is a Twister style flat ride, commonly found at travelling fairs. Guests sit on bench-type seats which are spun and whirled around horizontally, looking in a way like dancers on a dancefloor.
Flavio's Fabulous Fandango was one of four temporary fairground rides brought in across Alton Towers for the 2021 season, to help fill some of the gaps left by several of the park's permanent rides not being able to run at full capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions.
