The Freaky Five
The Freaky Fun Zone stage is located within the courtyard next to Hex, and hosts a number of different shows throughout the day. They feature Scarefest's freaky five: Patch the Pumpkin, Phil the Mummy, Franklin of Frankenstein's Monster fame, Skelvin the Skeleton and, new for Scarefest 2018, Gretyl the Witch.
There have been live stage shows for families at Scarefest for a long time, with Trick or Treat Party being popular among younger visitors for several years. The offering got a major update in 2018 with a new song and dance show, Patch's Halloween Party, together with an expanded lineup of supporting shows including Skelvin's Spooky Story Time, Phil and Franklin's Ghoulish Games and Gretyl's Spell School.
The shows take place on a rolling schedule throughout the day from 11am to 8pm.
