Babylon Park's Rollercoaster is a coaster suitable for families at the indoor amusement park in Camden Market, London.
The rollercoaster sits in the park's lower level and has a simple circuit comprising a lift hill, downward helix which spirals around Babylon's drop tower, followed by a small hill and a 180 degree turn back to the station. It takes four laps of the track before coming to a final stop.
The yellow painted train is reasonably comfortable although feels very enclosed, with additional perspex side panels on the back row of each four seater car.
Although it sounds a bit rattly, the ride experience itself is pretty smooth. As you might expect from a rollercoaster targetted predominantly at young families, it is reasonably fast but never picks up too much speed.
Babylon Park's Rollercoaster is far from the most imaginative of coaster designs found at indoor Family Entertainment Centres, but it is nevertheless a nice ride to have at the park. For many young Londoners it may well be their first introduction to a rollercoaster bigger than a Wacky Worm and as such it is very welcome, even if older children may not get quite as much of a thrill.
