Rockin' Roller is the largest of the rollercoasters at Botton's Pleasure Beach, and sits on the park's boundary overlooking Skegness beach.
The ride is a spinning wild mouse coaster built by Fabbri, and lacks some of the finesse of wild mice from other manufacturers. This isn't all to the ride's disadvantage: the cars are able to spin all the way around the track rather than being unlocked part way through the course, for example, which creates some extra fun on the lift hills (Rockin' Roller has two, with a 90° corner between each half allowing for cars to be hauled to the full height of the ride within a fairly compact space).
The track layout is different too from the generic switchback corners followed by steep drops found on most of these type of rides. Sadly that makes for a less interesting ride: While the cars do spin quite a bit, there is a distinct lack of exciting large drops and the circuit is more like a long downward spiral back to the station.
While it is a lacklustre experience compared to the best spinning wild mouse rollercoasters, Rockin' Roller is still a good ride for Botton's. Its placement on the roof of one of the park's buildings adds a bit of extra height to the ride, and gives some nice views over the sea from the top of the lift hill.
