Mexicana
Sitting under the heat of the Mexican sunshine, Mexicana is the home of Chessington's mining industry.
The wild west themed mining town hosts Scorpion Express, an out-of-control train ride; and Rattlesnake, a rickety mine cart wild mouse rollercoaster.
Mexicana is nicely themed and does a good job evoking the feel of a dusty Mexican town, especially on a hot summer day. Look out especially for the western themed buildings and giant cactus plants.
Sitting between Rattlesnake and Scorpion Express is a restaurant which seems to frequently change both its name and food offerings. Currently it is called Tortilla and offers a range of burritos and other Mexican style snacks.
Mexicana sits between Adventure Point and Forbidden Kingdom and is a popular thoroughfare for visitors en-route to towards the back of the park.
