World of Jumanji
Themed around the original hit movie starring Robin Williams and the subsequent film franchise, World of Jumanji brings the family fantasy adventure to life at Chessington World of Adventures.
The area, set within a dense jungle, features Mandrill Mayhem as its headline attraction. This launched shuttle wing coaster's track circles the perimeter of the area, culminating in a spiralling vertical spike around a towering Jaguar Shrine statue which acts as a spectacular theming centrepiece.
Together with Mandrill Mayhem are two accompanying support rides in the form of Mamba Strike and Ostrich Stampede. In the centre of the land is a Jumanji styled maze, which also includes a number of obstacles for children to play on.
A small village area next to the Mandrill Mayhem station has a number of games stalls, plus a Refresh and Refill drinks station. The nearby gift shop offers a range of World of Jumanji themed souvenirs.
Although a lot of trees and foliage are planted throughout World of Jumanji, visitors should be aware that the area has been designed without any shady spaces or shelter from either bright sunshine or heavy rain.
