Spooky fun and haunted attractions come to Chessington World of Adventures every Halloween.
For many years, Chessington World of Adventures has closed its main season with a special Halloween event. Formerly called Halloween Hocus Pocus, the event is now known as Howl'o'ween and takes place over the last two or three weeks of October.
Traditionally, Chessington has put a lot of effort into decorating the park for the event, with pumpkins to be found everywhere and the Burnt Stub Mansion decked out with giant cobwebs and spiders.
The range of special attractions for the Halloween season have expanded over the years, and Howl'o'ween now features a lineup of family-friendly scare mazes and live shows.
Chessington stays open later into the evening and, especially towards the end of October, there is plenty of opportunity to try out the park's rides in the dark. A real highlight is a trip into the Transylvanian forest onboard Vampire, which takes on a new dimension as it zooms through the cold night air and dives into its smoke filled tunnel.
