Chessington Adventure Tree
Adventure Tree Carousel, sitting in pride of place within Chessington’s central Adventure Point, is a reimagining of the classic fairground carousel.
Chessington’s version features a variety of safari animals replacing the more traditional carnival horses. These circulate around an impressive giant tree structure, itself nicely themed and filled with little details to discover.
Unusually for a British carousel the ride rotates anti-clockwise, which is more common for carousels in mainland Europe and North America.
Adventure Tree was new for 2017, acting as a replacement for Chessington’s old Carousel which operated at the park between 1996 and 2016.
