Barrel Bail Out
Barrel Bail Out is a soaking wet water ride in the Shipwreck Coast area at Chessington World of Adventures.
After a freak rain storm, the habour has been flooded and guests have been asked to jump into one of the waterlogged barrels currently floating in a whirlpool created by the downpour, bailing it out before it floats away.
The ride is a Watermania model from Zamperla, and looks like a cross between a tea cup ride and a water pistol fight. As the barrels turn around on the circular platform, riders can use their individual handcranked guns to shoot water at fellow riders ... and unsuspecting passers-by who get too close! In short, nobody comes off dry.
Barrel Bail Out has proved to be a popular attraction on hot summer days, with children and adults alike enjoying the chance for a cool down and a guaranteed fun filled water fight.
