Roger's Dodgems
Roger the Dodger’s Dodgems was a bumper car ride within Chessington’s Beanoland.
The dodgems, manufactured by Preston & Barbieri, were installed at the park in 2000 as part of the new Beanoland area that replaced the original Circus World.
The cars were brightly painted to represent Beano characters including Roger himself, Dennis the Menace, Gnasher and Walter.
The ride came complete with a very infectious soundtrack which just added to the fun filled crazy atmosphere.
Roger the Dodger’s Dodgems was rethemed as Tuk Tuk Turmoil and relocated to the other side of the area when Beanoland became Wild Asia in 2010. Its former site is now home to Kobra.
