Seastorm
Sea Storm is a fun roundabout style ride, with riders sitting in small boats which circulate around over dips and valleys like a ship in rough seas.
Not only do the boats move up and down, but at points within the ride some of them spin around leaving their occupants facing backwards, not knowing quite where they are going!
The ride is from German manufacturer Mack Rides which market it as a Sea Storm ride. Ten points to Chessington there then for coming up with an original name for their version.
Although, probably mostly due to its seafaring theme, the ride is officially in Pirates’ Cove, it actually sits on the edge of Chessington’s central Adventure Point area.
