Skyways
Clarence Pier’s Skyways rollercoaster was a classic SDC Galaxi coaster which opened at the park in 1980.
It featured the classic Galaxi trains with two cars each with two rows of two riders, and the usual track layout comprising two large drops and the fantastically forceful helices that provided one of the main highlights of the ride.
Skyways closed in 2017, although the park stated that it was being sent away to be refurbished and would be returning in the future. How true this turns out to be is unclear, as the former site of Skyways is now taken up by a coaster from SBF Visa which features a similar layout to the original Galaxi ride.
