Vikings area

Filled with Norse mythology, Drayton Manor's Vikings area is a themed land featuring several family-friendly rides and attractions.

The area opened on 28 May 2022, and offers rides including the Jormungandr powered rollercoaster themed around the Midgard serpent legend, the Thor Disk'O Coaster and a UK first: the intriguing Loki Zamperla NebulaZ.

For younger visitors there is the Sleipnir pony ride, and all the family can find something to eat at the Walhalla restaurant which features a special BBQ firepit.

Vikings is nicely themed with an overall wooden Norse mythology look, in line with the increased quality and standard set at Drayton Manor with Thomas Land. The area fits in well with the new direction and strategy Looping Group have introduced for the park, moving away from large thrill rides aimed at a teenage market and focussing more on becoming a family-oriented day out.
