Drayton Manor's annual fireworks spectacular brings the theme park season to a close in November each year.
The park lake provides the picturesque setting for Drayton Manor's annual end of season fireworks display.
The theme park doesn't usually do anything special for Halloween, so the fireworke is the major event at the end of October/early November every year. Perhaps in an attempt to avoid clashing with Alton Towers' Fireworks, Drayton's is usually held the week before, either the final weekend of October or the first weekend in November.
Rather than a particular storyline, each event has a theme which provides motivation for the accompanying music selection. These are usually interspersed with sound clips - often from the news or popular TV shows. The focus is on the fireworks rather than any giant screens or other set pieces, although for the 2019 display a giant moon disc was hoisted into the sky on a crane to celebrate the Moon Landing anniversary.
