Opened as a visitor attraction in 1988, Folly Farm features an extensive farm, zoo, playgrounds and fairground for families to explore.
The fairground is situated undercover and features a number of vintage fairground rides which have been lovingly restored. The rides operate on a pay per ride basis, although they are exceptionally reasonably priced - no rip off funfair pricing here! Among the classic rides, some major highlights include the Golden Gallopers carousel, Lakin Skid, Chair-o-planes, Caterpillar, Jets and Ghost Train.
Outside of the fairground, Folly Farm offers large outdoor play areas which are a big draw for children, an ever-expanding zoo and some great fun go karts.
