Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus is a spinning rollercoaster at the beachside Funland amusement park on Hayling Island.
The ride, manufactured by EOS Rides, features a train with five four-seater cars which navigate around its yellow painted track through various corners and over gentle hills. Along the way riders pass a smattering of model dinosaurs that add to the theme.
Each car can spin freely on a central axis. Depending on the weight and positioning of the riders within the car, this can cause some great fun spinning as the train makes its way through the circuit.
Spinosaurus sits at Funland's roadside boundary, allowing passers-by to witness the fun and allows the rollercoaster to act as an advertisement of the thrills within the park. It isn't the most intense of rollercoasters, but is perfect for kids and families.
Before being added to Funland in December 2021, the ride was sited at Gulliver's Land in Milton Keynes where it had operated as Twist 'n' Joust.
