Crazy Mouse is an indoor giant mouse themed rollercoaster at Gulliver's Land in Milton Keynes.
The ride is an L&T Systems Mini Coaster and is housed within a building in the JCB Zone area, near to park's castle centrepiece. Being part of JCB Zone is probably more to do with the physical location of the ride building, rather than any particular affinity between mice and diggers.
Most of the Crazy Mouse queue is outside the building itself, with riders being let in through a door a train's-worth at a time.
The coaster is pretty tame, but the darkened building adds an extra exciting dimension. It makes multiple circuits of the track, with the lights switched off for the final one, giving riders a loop around in the semi-blackness. When the lights are on, riders will notice they are passing by various larger-than-life objects and scenery - including a chair, fireplace and piano - that help give the illusion they have been shrunk to the size of a mouse.
For what is essentially a basic kiddie coaster, Gulliver's have done a great job of placing Crazy Mouse in the dark and with the addition of theming elements, which lifts it above what could have just been a simple mundane ride.
