The carousel
Situated on Main Street at the front of the park is Gulliver's Land's carousel. It is the first ride visitors will encounter after passing through the main entrance.
There seems to be a little bit of confusion as to the carousel's official name: According to its main sign it is called Main St Carousel, but it is referred to as Horses Carousel on the park map. Elsewhere, it is sometimes known as Main Street Horses Carousel.
Whatever its actual name, it gives children the chance to experience a traditional carousel ride astride a horse, or in style within a beautifully decorated carriage. There's even the opportunity to climb a staircase and ride on a first floor balcony.
Since it is so close to the front, the Carousel is very popular at the start and end of the day - for a shorter wait, skip past it and return over lunch or in the early afternoon.
