Flying on Tree Top Swings
On Gulliver's Tree Top Swings, riders get the chance to fly through the air in the theme park's Adventure Land area.
The ride is a family friendly wave swinger (also known as chair swings or chair-o-planes): Each rider sits on a seat connected via chains to the main roof of the ride. The roof and central column of the ride spin, causing the chairs to fly outwards.
Gulliver's version is a Family Swing model from SBF Visa Group, and was installed at Gulliver's Land in 1999.
A ride on Tree Top Swings is not overly scary, but plenty of fun and in many ways can be actually gently relaxing.
