Grand Prix Racers
Inspired by the thrill of Formula 1 racing, Grand Prix Racers is Gulliver's Valley's largest rollercoaster and opened at the park in 2021.
The ride is the headline attraction in the park's Gears car themed area, and is a Race Coaster manufactured by SBF Visa Group: the first of its kind in the UK.
It features an F1 racing car themed train, seating up to twenty riders in five cars. After ascending the tyre driven lift hill, the train navigates through a circuit comprising a downward helix and airtime hill. Due to the shortness of the layout, the train makes two laps of the track before riders disembark.
It is nice to see Gulliver's selecting Grand Prix Racers to add to the theme park. An easier choice would have been a standard wacky worm, but this - even if it isn't the most comfortable rollercoaster in the world - is at least a more interesting addition.
It is a big thrill for children, and possibly one of the more intimidating rides at Gulliver's Valley. Grand Prix Racers is plenty of fun though and seems very popular, attracting a queue of eager families waiting to ride throughout the day.
