Lego Studios 4D
Lego Studios 4D is Legoland Windsor's indoor cinema which shows 4D movies throughout the day.
Visitors wear 3D glasses, and the movie theatre features several special effects to earn its "4D" credentials. These include smoke, lighting, fire, water and bubbles/foam. The water effects are substantial, and guests who choose to sit in the middle of the auditorium (designated the "wet zone") will probably get quite wet.
Unlike some 4D cinemas, the seats are simple wooden planks set into concrete steps, so they do not move or vibrate themselves.
Films shown change from year to year, but usually last around 10-15 minutes and feature Lego characters and various contemporary lego themes. Show times are widely publicised in park maps and on display boards outside the cinema building - multiple films are usually shown throughout the day, giving guests the opportunity to experience more than one during their visit if they would like to.
