With Legoland Windsor opening for a special Christmas event in December, festive cheer comes to Miniland with a whole host of special additions for the winter season.

Hidden extras can be found across the whole of Miniland, although the majority of Christmas fun is concentrated in Miniland London. There's a tree in Trafalgar Square, carol singers outside St Paul's Cathedral, and Santa's sleigh flying over the Houses of Parliament.

Miniland really comes alive as darkness falls, with twinkling fairy lights all around making for a really magical atmosphere.

Legoland is well known for regularly recognising current events with changes in Miniland, and at Christmas their lego builders bring their skills to bear to add a fantastic festive overlay. It's worth a look, and it is easy to get immersed and spend a long time exploring all the wonderful additions across the whole of the area.
