Taking visitors back to a typical American midwest desert town in the 1950s, Tornado Springs at Paultons Park is encircled by Storm Chaser, the park's spinning rollercoaster, together with other classic small-town America themed rides, attractions and food outlets.

Tornado Springs is a resort town which sits on Route 83, a highway known for its frequent bad weather and huge storms which regularly pass through. The town welcomes visitors from near and far, with local businesses offering plenty of food, automobile servicing and a place to unwind. As a rural community, there's a local farm that embraces modern technologies to help gather in the crops and generate power for the locals.

Windmill Towers and Cyclonator

The new area was largely constructed over the 2019 season and was originally intended to open in 2020, but due to the Coronavirus Pandemic its premiere was delayed a year until 2021. It officially opened on Monday April 12th 2021, and represented the largest investment at Paultons Park to date.

Headlined by Storm Chaser, Tornado Springs also offers other new rides including the Cyclonator gyro swing, Al's Auto Academy driving school, and Windmill Towers junior drop towers. Three existing Paultons Park rides were rethemed to fit with the new land: Trekking Tractors and the Rio Grande Train were incorporated, and the Wave Runner dinghy slide became Buffalo Falls.

Along with the rides, there are two playgrounds, the Route 83 Diner restaurant and Al's Shop and Service gift shop plus a couple of smaller takeaway food outlets.

Tornado Springs has an all-round feel good American vibe. The area's theming is superb, and amongst the very best in the UK. There are many little details to find, and its very immersive ... you can almost hear the traffic driving along Route 83!
