Wipeout
Wipeout is the largest in Pleasurewood Hills' collection of rollercoasters and the only shuttle coaster at the theme park.
It has a loose surfing theme, and is painted light blue with an orange train.
The coaster is a standard Vekoma Boomerang model, with the train traversing through cobra roll and vertical loop inversions before climbing up a spike, then descending backwards to take on the whole trip again ... but in reverse.
Old school Vekoma rollercoasters are known for their roughness, and Wipeout is unfortunately plagued by a few headbanging moments. It is, though, a surprisingly intense and forceful ride: which both mitigates and builds on the problem.
There aren't many Vekoma Boomerangs around - and Wipeout is the only example in the UK - so for that reason alone it might be worth braving the roughness to experience a ride. Just don't expect it to be graceful!
