Crow encounters

The Crows of Mawkin Meadow is a walkthrough scare zone at Thorpe Park Fright Nights, which takes visitors down a pathway through cornfields and into the mysterious village of Mawkin Meadow.

The scare zone is located on the lakeside pathway that runs parallel to Colossus from Saw up to the area near Rush. It's a huge area, allowing for a long walk and plenty of space for various scenes.

The zone is nicely decorated throughout, with pumpkins and hay bales littering the pathway. Of course these are not the only things to see ... visitors to Mawkin Meadow will quickly encounter The Crows: actors with covered faces dressed as horrific looking scarecrows who inhabit the Meadow.

The Crows of Mawkin Meadow is nicely done, with the smoke filled pathway and slow moving Crows creating an especially creepy atmosphere after dark. Its length is impressive, with enough scenes and actors spread throughout to keep it entertaining. It isn't absolutely terrifying, making it suitable for a larger range of visitors than some of the more intense Fright Night experiences.
