Depth Charge was the first four lane dinghy waterslide in the UK, and sits beside Neptune's Beach and The Dome at the front of the park.
The ride offers guests the chance to sit inside inflatable dinghies race each other down a 39ft high slide, flying over small hills along the way. Depending on the size and weight of the riders, these bumps can cause the dinghies to launch into the air and offer some nice pops of airtime.
While classed as a water ride, Depth Charge is rarely that wet - riders may well get some spray in their face but are unlikely to end up soaked. Being at the front of the park, it can attract long queues, which wind their way up the structure's metal staircase. It's a fun little ride but not worth queuing more than a little while for, especially given the achingly slow throughput.
