West Midland Safari Park brings visitors close to endangered species and wild animals in the heart of the West Midlands.
The park's major attraction is an extensive drive through safari. Visitors can drive their own cars through various expansive enclosures which house a variety of animals including giraffes, zebras, rhinos, tigers, lions and elephants.
Alongside the safari and a zoo, West Midland Safari Park hosts a small amusement park. There are several kiddie rides plus those suitable for older family members, including three rollercoasters, a log flume, a portable rapids ride and a pirate ship.
West Midland Safari Park is predominantly a safari park, although the amusement rides are placed in a reasonably sized area rather than pushed to one side. Overall the park is welcoming and provides some great opportunities to view their large animal collection.
