Opening each evening as the sun goes down over southern Turkey, Aktur Park is a medium sized amusement park in the city of Antalya.
Beyond the impressive castle gateway style entrance lies a collection of large rides and smaller attractions suitable for children. The park is clean and well kept, and the staff operating the rides and food stalls are all very friendly. Not many of them speak much English, but it’s easy enough to communicate through the international language of pointing, nodding and smiling!
Aktur Park’s largest rollercoaster is a spinning wild mouse named Twister Coaster, which sits opposite Korku Tüneli, the park’s ghost train. Elsewhere in the park are a selection of flat rides, two small kiddie coasters and a big wheel which gives views over Antalya.
