Grand Prix
Fun Land was a family entertainment centre inside the Nata Vega Outlet shopping mall in Ankara.
The park’s most obvious attraction was Disco, which sat in front of a huge window at the end of the Mall with Fun Land spreading out in two large rooms to either side. Disco was from EOS Rides, and was a strange amalgamation of a giant spinning tea cup and half pipe.
To one side of Disco was Grand Prix, Fun Land’s IE Park JR40 rollercoaster, which almost touched the roof. Although impressively large for an indoor coaster, it didn’t go particularly fast or do anything particularly interesting – just a few fairly gentle turns and helices to get it from the top of the lift hill back to the station.
In the room which formed the other half Fun Land were a variety of other rides including a small drop tower, carousel, dark ride, dodgems and a games arcade.
