Adventureland is the largest indoor Family Entertainment Centre in the Middle East, and is located in the Sharjah Centre shopping mall in the United Arab Emirates.
|Opened||20 February 2002|
Adventureland occupies 70000 square feet on the first floor of the Sharjah Centre shopping mall, making it the largest indoor Family Entertainment Centre in the Middle East.
The park is decorated with high quality jungle inspired theming throughout and looks fantastic. The colourful entrance makes a big first impression, and is unmissable.
Amongst Adventureland's 18 attractions are three rollercoasters, all from Zamperla. Forest Train and Kukulcan are both powered coasters, although Kukulcan is much faster than Forest Train and really speeds around the track.
They both opened with the park in 2002, and in 2014 were joined by Rocket Cycles, a Zamperla MotoCoaster. Similar to Vekoma Motorbike coasters, riders sit two abreast on motorcycle styled cars. This is a perfect ride for an FEC like Adventureland, with the ride being exciting rather than too tame as the kiddie coasters which many FECs opt to put in can be. They've made full use of the available space, with the lift hill and top of the first drop almost touching the ceiling of the shopping centre.
Adventureland is a beautifully presented Family Entertainment Centre, with a nice selection of family friendly rides and other attractions. The park operates a pay-per-ride policy (via tokens loaded onto a swipe card) so it is easy to ride as much or as little as desired.
