Entrance to Yas Waterworld
Yas Waterworld is sited next to Ferarri World and the future Warner Bros theme park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. It takes theming cues from traditional Emirati pearl diving heritage, which is reflected in the overall park design and in some of the water slides.
Alongside various waterslides, Yas features a master blaster and Bandit Bomber, a Vekoma Splash Party rollercoaster. This inverted coaster takes riders soaring over the waterpark. Along the route are various water effects, meaning riders are almost guaranteed to come off the ride wetter than when they boarded, although the soaking is in truth rather limited.
